ElectronFlow is an interactive companion to the redox tower framework described in the paper below. It lets users explore how thermodynamic feasibility of microbial metabolisms shifts with environmental conditions — pH, gas partial pressures, and metabolite concentrations — by applying the Nernst equation to each half-reaction in real time.

This interactive website is also available on GitHub (cremerlab/redox-tower). The repository includes all half-reactions and metabolisms in machine-readable tables, and a README explaining the data format, how the Nernst equation is applied, and how to extend the tool with additional reactions or environmental conditions. The app runs entirely in the browser via Pyodide and Panel — no server required.
